Terms of Service for RoAPI Discord Bot

Welcome to RoAPI! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RoAPI Discord bot, website (roapi-bot.netlify.app), and associated analytics and developer services ("the Service", "we", "us", or "our"). By inviting the bot, accessing the site, or utilizing our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By adding RoAPI to your Discord guild, executing commands, linking accounts via OAuth, or completing purchases, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Description of Service
RoAPI delivers automated Roblox experience monitoring, live statistics tracking embeds, real-time update change detection threads, Developer Tier telemetry tools (Luau Crash Debugger), and automated tier upgrades across Discord.
3. User Conduct and Responsibilities
- Platform Compliance: You must strictly adhere to Discord's Terms of Service, Discord Community Guidelines, and Roblox's Terms of Use at all times.
- Roblox OAuth 2.0 & Inventory Scopes: When linking your Roblox account via official Roblox OAuth 2.0, you grant RoAPI permission to access standard identity scopes (
openid, profile) and your inventory (user.inventory-item:read) solely to verify eligible RoAPI gamepass purchases for automated limit upgrades. You warrant that you are the lawful account holder or authorized representative. Account binding is restricted to one Roblox account per Discord account to prevent quota circumvention.
- Prohibited Activities: You may not use RoAPI to harass users, flood API endpoints, manipulate analytics, bypass tracker quotas, reverse engineer bot infrastructure, or engage in malicious or unauthorized activity.
- Blacklist Enforcement: We reserve the right to immediately suspend or permanently blacklist any Discord user ID, guild ID, or Roblox universe ID found in violation of these Terms, attempting exploit abuse, or executing unauthorized automated attacks.
4. Purchases, Subscriptions & Stripe Billing
RoAPI offers optional paid tracker capacity addons, Premium Tier, and Developer Tier features through Stripe (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay) and Roblox Robux gamepasses:
- Automated Fulfillment: Stripe purchases are fulfilled automatically via webhook integration. Your numeric Discord User ID must be attached to the checkout session to enable instant activation. If an order is placed without linking your ID, you can claim your purchase in Discord using
/purchase by entering your Stripe Session ID or billing email.
- Recurring Subscriptions: Monthly subscription tiers (Premium Monthly, Developer Tier Monthly) bill on a recurring 30-day cycle. You may cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe billing portal or by contacting support. Upon cancellation, your access remains active until the end of the current billing cycle, after which your account reverts to standard limits without forfeiting any lifetime perks.
- Sales Tax & Pricing: Prices are displayed in USD and exclude applicable regional sales tax or VAT, which Stripe calculates and displays at checkout based on your billing location.
- Refund & Dispute Policy: All digital services and tracker upgrades are provisioned immediately upon payment completion. Due to the real-time allocation of server resources, purchases are non-refundable once delivered, except where required by mandatory consumer protection law. Initiating fraudulent chargebacks or payment disputes without contacting support first constitutes a breach of these Terms and will result in an immediate and permanent blacklist across all RoAPI services.
5. Developer Tier & Luau In-Game Debugger API
- Authorized Usage & Universe Locking: Developer Tier subscribers are granted access to generate API keys for the RoAPI Luau Crash Reporter. Each API key is cryptographically bound to your verified Roblox User ID and locked exclusively to the specific Universe IDs you register. Ingestion requests originating from external games, mismatched universes, or non-whitelisted place IDs will be automatically rejected. You agree to embed this reporter solely in Roblox experiences that you own or have explicit administrative authorization to instrument.
- Telemetry Restrictions: You agree not to transmit personally identifiable information (PII), sensitive player communications, authentication secrets, or abusive payloads through the error ingestion API.
- Rate Limits & Fair Use: Ingestion endpoints are protected by automated burst and frequency limiters. Excessive or intentional error flooding may result in temporary throttling or API key revocation.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
RoAPI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Roblox public APIs will remain continuously available. We are not affiliated with, maintained by, or endorsed by Roblox Corporation or Discord Inc.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoAPI and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, player engagement, or revenue, arising from the use of or inability to use the service.
8. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. When updates are published, the "Last Updated" date will reflect the revision. Continued use of RoAPI following changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
